Early Childhood Ministry
Our kids ministry provides a safe and fun environment where kids learn about God, build lifelong relationships, and have fun growing their faith! Early Childhood runs Sunday mornings on a September through August schedule. It also provides childcare for weeknight kids volunteers and Mother's Impact.
All volunteers must be dependable, friendly, enthusiastic, relate well with volunteers, and relate well with children.
Tier 3: Renew Bible Church Attender | Tier 4: Renew Bible Church Member
Description: This individual leads the people (volunteers and children) in a classroom. They are the point person and teach the Bible lesson.
Commitment: Flexible, 1-2x/month up to weekly.
Skills needed: In addition to the above skills, organized, creative, and a dynamic communicator.
Description: This individual serves alongside the room leader. They assist with crafts, activities, and circle time.
Commitment: Flexible, 1-2x/month up to weekly.
Skills needed: In addition to the above skills, organized, creative, and a dynamic communicator.
Description: Sees an area of need in an environment and helps out with that need. Willing to be flexible and help out wherever, whenever, and however needed.
Commitment: One year, flexible (monthly to weekly commitment).
Skills needed: Flexibility, awareness, proactive, problem solver.
Description: Welcomes kids and families into an environment, answers questions, helps get kids registered.
Commitment: One year, flexible (monthly to weekly commitment).
Skills needed: Friendly, high relational skills, ability to troubleshoot tech issues with registration.
Description: These individuals come to engage with the kids: play with them, read to them, work alongside them to do crafts, and for the babies they help rock and snuggle.
Commitment: Flexible, 1-2x/month up to weekly.
Skills needed: Love for children.
Description: These individuals assist the helpers in engaging with the kids and gain additional responsibilities as they grow in their volunteer position.
Commitment: Flexible, 1-2x/month up to weekly.
Skills needed: Love for children.
