Elementary Ministry
Sunday mornings we offer Kids Church (grades K-3) and Renew 45 (grades 4-5), running on a September through August schedule. On Wednesday nights we have Kids Town, where kids (K-5th grade) from our church and community come together to hear and spread the gospel. The positions below are applicable toward these various kids environments.
Description: Teens and adults looking to get into the tech ministries, serving in various audio, video, and lighting areas outside of the adult Sunday morning service.
Commitment: Weekly Sunday or Wednesday nights, one year commitment.
Skills needed: No experience needed, willingness to learn.
Description: Sees an area of need in an environment and helps out with that need. Willing to be flexible and help out wherever, whenever, and however needed.
Commitment: One year, flexible (monthly to weekly commitment)
Skills needed: Flexibility, awareness, proactive, problem solver.
Description: Create a fun atmosphere while leading large groups of kids in high energy games.
Commitment: One year, flexible (at least monthly, up to weekly).
Skills needed: Fun, clear communicator, energetic, creative problem solver.
Description: Team members perform songs with motions in front of kids in different ministry environments with enthusiasm and energy.
Commitment: Weekly, one year.
Skills needed: Energetic, enthusiastic, musical.
Description: Creates a safe environment for a small group of kids so they can connect relationally and grow spiritually.
Commitment: Sunday Mornings & Wednesday nights, weekly for one year (September-August).
Skills needed: Caring, highly relational, talk and interact with kids, ability to manage a group of kids. Good listener, able to have fun.
Description: Teach medium to large sized groups of kids about the Bible. Strive to teach lessons that are encouraging, gospel-filled, interesting, and impactful.
Commitment: Varies, teaches each week in a series.
Skills needed: Creative and dynamic communicator.
