Student Ministries
Middle School Ministry (MSM) meets Sunday mornings during second service, and Wednesday nights. High School Ministry (HSM) meets Sunday nights. We run on a September-May schedule (Sunday mornings run all summer).
Description: Build trust with students. During small group time, given curriculum and questions to facilitate conversation and develop relationships. Help students build connections with God, peers, and other leaders that love the Lord. Outside of structured programming, build relationships with students through attending sports events, communicating via text messaging, going to coffee, etc. Maintain communication with parents and assist parents in discipling their student. Identify where student is at in their faith journey, encourage them to move forward, and help facilitate as able.
Commitment: Weekly meetings Wednesdays
6:30-8:00pm (September-May) and Fall Retreat Weekend; four year commitment.
Skills needed: Spiritual maturity, high level of discernment, burdened to see students grow spiritually, humble, empathetic, good listener.

During 30-minute small group time, given curriculum and questions to facilitate conversation and develop relationships. Help students build connections with God, peers, and other leaders that love the Lord. Description: This team sets up and run the snack stand for MSM Wednesday nights.
Commitment: Weekly or biweekly (6:15pm-8:00pm) Wednesdays; one year commitment minimum.
Skills needed: Looking to get connected and serve; honest.
Description: Utilize social media to communicate with families.
Commitment: Weekly, one year commitment.
Skills needed: Good communicator, creative.
Description: MSM helpers welcome students, help with crowd control, and engage in conversation.
Commitment: Sunday mornings second service, one year commitment.
Skills needed: Consistent, looking to make students feel welcome.
Description: This team greets new families, ensures each kid gets acknowledged, and answers any questions as they sign in.
Commitment: People will serve in teams of two on a rotating basis.
Skills needed: Welcoming demeanor.
Description: Teens and adults looking to get into the tech ministries, serving in various audio, video, and lighting areas outside of the adult Sunday morning service.
Commitment: Weekly Sunday or Wednesday nights, one year commitment.
Skills needed: No experience needed, willingness to learn.
Description: This team comes early, prepares the auditorium with chairs, sets up for gaga and other activities. They ensure lights are turned on, temperature is set correctly, and the environment is welcoming for ministry. Following the evening, they ensure trash is removed, each room is reset, and lights are turned off.
Commitment: People serve in teams of two on a rotating basis.
Skills needed: This is a great position to serve behind the scenes; a simple willingness to serve is needed.
